Many authors opt for a sample copy. This way, you see exactly what your book looks like on paper and can still adjust any details. Requesting a sample copy takes extra time, in principle about twice as long.
The printing process
For small print runs, modern printing techniques are often used. The production time is usually the same, but with extra options such as spot UV, it can take slightly longer.
Shipping and delivery
After production, the books are carefully packaged and shipped. You usually receive the books the next working day.
